What a rough three days!!! Lizzie went to the doctor on Friday with a temperature of 102. She was having a little trouble keeping her sats up, but nothing major. Turns out she has mild pneumonia and a very red throat. The doctor took a throat swab and sent us to the lab to draw blood for a culture. Ya know, why don't kiddos get sick at 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon instead of the weekend? Anyway, LizBeth was pretty sick with a high fever that would NOT stay down and no interest in eating. She did not want us to hold her or jostle her around. She was just plain pitiful. Last night we took a teeny cake with a candle on it to her bed and sang "Happy Birthday LizBeth" and tied a Princess balloon to her bed. She barely woke up for it. However, this morning the Princess woke up with a huge smile. She raised her arms up for Stacy to pick her up. She laughed at the girls and let me cuddle her for a full 15 minutes. Then she was trying to stand up! Stacy and I are pretty sure that LizBeth wanted us to remember her birth by sending us to the City for two months. Now she wants us to remember her birthday by being scary sick for three days. Please continue to pray that she will continue to get better and better.

By the way, Sarah told me yesterday - "If you have another baby, I will just scream my head off! But if you had a boy, I might smile... a little." Katelyn responded with "Three babies is enough! Four is just too many." Their daddy agreed:)

God bless that little girl! It's really unbelievable that one year has gone by already!
Looking at her sleeping thru her b'day song, all I can see are eyelashes!!! They are sooo pretty!
We are praying hard for her to get better and better; we will not stop.
Love you guys,
Darlene, Grayson, and Nick
